Billy Collins has written twelve books of poems, the latest being The Rain in Portugal. He is a fellow of the Winter Park Institute at Rollins College. He served as the US Poet Laureate (2001-03) and was recently inducted into the American Academy of Arts and Letters. His father’s side of the family is from Drimoleague.
