Eight Dutch F-35 Fighter Jets Arrive at the Poland-Ukraine Border
Eight Dutch F-35s have deployed and landed in Poland due to increased tensions between Ukraine and Russia and will operate in Poland until March 2023. The eight aircraft will be deployed at Malbork airbase where allied warplanes from Portugal, Turkey and Italy were previously stationed. The first four will be used in an allied training program to increase NATO's presence on the eastern flank. then, a further four F-35s will be deployed to monitor airspace on the eastern side of NATO and promote cooperation among its members.
