This was a fun evening for expats who were able to attend this event in person in Portugal but you can still help out by donating from your place you're watching from now. You can reach out to help their program at direccao.abc@gmail.com or if you have swift capabilities you can donate by emailing them for their swift code.

This video was shot at the ABC Dance School to share why we support their amazing program. They're doing such important work in this community.

Ana and Mara share their talent and passion in creating opportunities for the youth. You can really see the love of dance these talented youth have.

After doing some more research, I was impressed to find ABC provides top-notch training to young dancers regardless of their financial situation. Founder Ana Dias has created an inclusive space for artistic growth.

The teachers here are all former professionals who pour themselves into nurturing new generations of performers. It's so crucial to have mentors of this caliber, especially for students who otherwise couldn't access such high-level instruction.

When I think about the impact dance has had on my own life, I feel called to support emerging artists however I can. That's why I'm helping the school - to help ensure opportunities that could change a child's future.

This school is doing amazing things but they can't do it alone. They rely on donations to cover expenses like tuition assistance, costumes and keeping this beautiful facility running.

If you feel inspired after seeing clips of ABC's talented students, please consider contributing. Every little bit makes a big difference for these kids and helps further the mission of nurturing talent through dance.

Thank you for taking the time to learn about ABC Dance School. I hope you'll join me in helping them continue empowering young performers. Let's ensure the arts remain accessible to all.

From the Founder Ana Dias:
"Good evening and welcome to ABC dance school, ABC stands for Academy Ballet Contemporary.
My name is Ana Dias and I am the founder of ABC, I was a professional dancer in the Netherlands, France, Brazil, Japan, Spain and Portugal and I graduated as a dance teacher from the University of Lisbon and the University of Tilburg, Netherlands.
I would like to thank everyone for coming.
We are a completely independent and privately funded dance school, we have a team of 9 teachers made up of former professional dancers with professional teachers and choreographers of national and international renown.
Our goal is to give those who demonstrate talent the chance to stand out and become professionals based on the different forms of dance we can teach.
The purpose of this evening is to try to convince you to help with support for our school or to help finance a promising dancer who cannot pay the fees.
If you look at the brochure you will see the different levels of support we seek for dancers and also the future capital investment for the dance school itself.
One-time contributions, monthly contributions are welcome, as is individual dancer sponsorship, the choice is yours, if you are interested, contact us to make a personalized sponsorship program that meets your desire.
As an example we have a dancer who is being financed by a sponsor, another girl is having her personal choreography financed by a donor... the choice is yours.
Please enjoy this demonstration and we hope it encourages you to help us or support a dancer in one of the required areas."
