THIS HOUSE GOT AWAY FROM HER AFTER HER MOM DIED - the FINISHED RESULTS brought her to TEARS
'This was such an awesome project to work on. I knocked on the door several times with no answer, left and continued looking for places to work around this city in Kansas but for some reason I felt drawn to this house and knew it is where I should be so I went back and knocked again. just when I was about to give up I heard a small shy voice talk through the door. after speaking through the door the homeowner reluctantly opened the door. I asked if I could clean up the property and explained what I do. after she gave me approval I started to work on the property. I really enjoyed this project and it was awesome to work at such a historic house. I have always loved Victorian houses and consider this to be one of my trophy cuts. if you haven't heard me say that before I consider myself a hunter of fun projects and just like a hunter I have projects that I metaphorically mount on my wall as my favorites. I thought this was going to be a trophy cut for me because of the house but it ended up having a lot of meaning once the homeowner talked to me later in the day and I found out why the home had come to be in the shape that it was in. I found out that it use to be her grandmothers, then her mothers and now hers and that her grandmother and mother had recently passed away. I never know what is going on in someone's life when I knock on these random doors but I do know that someone's property is an outward reflection of what they have going on in there life. depression and mourning had played its part on this woman's life and because of your support of the channel I was able to make over her property (an outward cleaning) this will no doubt have an impact on her spirit. One of the fond memories that she shared with me is that her grandfather use to sit on the rail of the porch and eat peaches and when he was done he would spit the seed on the ground beside the porch. if you watch closely there is a tree that I avoid cutting down on the left side of the porch that is the peach tree. it was very special to her and I thought it was such a cool story that I wanted to share it with you.
I honestly feel like I am one of the luckiest lawn care providers in the world, being able to have meaningful impact on the lives of others truly brings me happiness and as I said before I can only do that with your help so I hope that you to feel like I do. to me you might as well be here with me when I am on projects even if its not in the flesh.
so now that I have gone on a weird ramble like l always do I hope that you enjoy this restoration project. this is the first part of the job so in this video I clean up the lawn and cut down all the overgrown trees. In the second part I soft wash the house and clean the concrete to give the home a truly amazing transformation. thank you so much for your continued support. if you made it through all of my rambling and you want to let me know you are one of the real supporters that actually read my descriptions when i write them leave a comment that says ''RAMBLE AWAY.'' lol that will hopefully give me encouragement to take the time to write you some stories about the jobs that just for one reason or another did not make the cut in the video. stay awesome and have a wonderful day.
