In this episode I complete the trough bench flip-top seating and functional storage space. There is still some minor finessing to do, but I am really happy with how it turned out! I also bought a new tool, a SDS Drill, to make my life much easier! I am shocked by the results. Shiva went for his first doggy-acupuncture session in Lisbon and I restack some firewood to get the last pieces off the ground and drier.

About Girl Meets Farm:
I'm Christine, a South African expat now living in Portugal.

This is my adventure as a solo expat on a farm in Central Portugal with my two fur-kids, Shakti & Shiva.
I've never owned or lived on a farm, but moved to Portugal in the hope of fulfilling a life-long dream of finding open space, subsistence farming and a safer, better life.

The third stage of our journey begins now!
I'm still figuring out farm life, and while the larger renovation of the agricultural structure is now complete, I will continue renovating the interior to make it habitable and turn it into a comfortable home for me and my furkids.

Thank you for joining our journey!
