Luis Norton de Matos has conducted his first training session as head coach of India Under-17 for upcoming FIFA U-17 World Cup. The 63-year-old Portuguese takes over the hosts' team after the controversial departure of German coach Nicolai Adam towards the end of January.
Luis Norton de Matos, who played for Portugal as a forward in 1982, has managed various clubs in his country before coming to India for the U-17 job. De Matos, who has a Goan connection with his great grandfather being born here, will address the media on Wednesday. #Prudent Media Goa
