Hay Festival Europa28 is a space beyond Europe's traditional centres of power in which 28 women writers, journalists, artists, scientists and entrepreneurs from across the continent share their visions for the future.

Ahead of our upcoming Festival online and in Rijeka, Croatia, 6-9 October 2020, here is a weekly series of shorts to introduce the project, the participants, and the big questions they are tackling.
